• Health Data: Calorie intake, water consumption, sleep duration, mood logs, step counts (via HealthKit/Google Fit), and menstrual cycle data (if enabled).
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as features used and time spent.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers for analytics and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve our App and services.
• To personalize your experience, including providing AI-driven health insights, calorie recommendations, and meal suggestions.
• To synchronize your data securely using Firebase so you can access it across your devices.
• To monitor usage trends and analyze App performance.
• To send you administrative messages, technical notices, and security alerts.

3. Integration with Third-Party Health Platforms

If you choose to connect VitaAI with Apple HealthKit or Google Fit:

• We will request explicit permission to read specific data (such as step counts).
• Data obtained from HealthKit or Google Fit is used solely to provide features within VitaAI.
• We do not use HealthKit or Google Fit data for advertising purposes.
• We do not sell this data to third parties.

4. Artificial Intelligence & Third-Party Services

VitaAI uses AI (Google Gemini) to provide personalized analysis. We only send the minimum necessary log data (e.g., aggregated weekly stats without identifying personal details) to generate these insights. Additonally, we use Firebase (by Google) for secure backend database and authentication.

5. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers and standard tracking technologies (like cookies) to serve personalized ads based on your interests, provided you have granted permission via App Tracking Transparency (on iOS). You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can review, update, or delete your account and personal information at any time within the App settings. Deleting your account will completely remove your personal and health data from our active databases.

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
